Once you have your website up and running you will then be in a position to insert commission earning links.
Although they do not pay massive commissions(4 – 6%) Amazon is probably the easiest affiliate marketer to set up. Just click on the “become an affiliate marketer” at the bottom of the page and follow the instructions from there.
The great advantage of an Amazon link is that once a prospective buyer links to an Amazon product from your site, then you earn commission on anything they buy from Amazon at that time.
Unfortunately Amazon will not pay you any commission on anything you buy.
You can though “test the system” by persuading a friend to use your link to Amazon to buy something and then check that you get the commission.
