There is a lot of help on the internet on how to construct a website.

However if it’s a website driven by affiliate marketing then it gets a bit more complicated.

Essentially a website for affiliate marketing has to attract people interested in the subject and so it has to have a so called ranking by Google and other search engines. In order to do that it has to go through a process of Search Engine Optimisation or SEO.

So the first thing you have to do is to get a website. You need to decide on a name and then find out if it is available. One of the best places to look is Namecheap.com. The site is fairly comprehensive and you can get a website at very reasonable prices.

There are many web designs available so it’s a good idea to decide what you want on the first few pages and then choose one to suit. For example this one is called Aspen.

Having selected your design you then have to decide what to put on it and then basically write the pages. This is when it starts to become complicated because if you want to attract “traffic”to your site  then content is paramount and using keywords is essential. This is where you have to be very creative.
